Laser Skin Resurfacing Procedure
Our practice uses both the Pearl and Pearl Fractional lasers for skin resurfacing. The Pearl laser treats fine lines, uneven skin texture and light or dark spots caused by sun damage. During the treatment, outermost layers of dead and damaged skin are gently removed, leaving our patients with a skin tone that appears fresh and revitalized.
The Pearl Fractional laser works to remove sun damaged tissue and stimulate the growth of new skin and collagen, which helps to keep the skin tight and taut. This treatment is beneficial for deeper penetration of the skin. The term "fractional" means that the laser light affects only a certain portion or fraction of the skin. The fractional laser selectively treats columns of tissue, leaving surrounding skin intact and undamaged.
