This 32-year-old patient underwent breast augmentation, performed by Dr. Howard Silverman at Ottawa Plastic Surgery. Her procedure was designed to enhance breast volume and improve overall breast balance in the setting of bilateral breast hypoplasia, significant breast asymmetry, and chest wall asymmetry.

To help improve proportion and balance, different implant sizes and profiles were selected for each side: a 265 cc Allergan smooth round full profile silicone gel implant on the left and a 340 cc Allergan smooth round extra full profile silicone gel implant on the right.

Breast augmentation surgery can be highly customized for patients with natural breast asymmetry, chest wall differences, or smaller breast volume. This patient’s result demonstrates improved fullness, enhanced projection, and a more balanced breast contour while respecting her natural anatomy.
