Yes. If you’re considering treatment at Ottawa Plastic Surgery, you can apply for financing before your consultation. Applying early may help you better understand your budget and available payment options before meeting with your surgeon. Your final financing needs will depend on your personalized treatment plan, but early approval can help streamline the process once you’re ready to move forward.

Payment in full is due 4 weeks in advance of surgery. Please contact the clinic to ensure your balance is paid at least four (4) weeks in advance via Visa, MasterCard, Bank Draft, Cash, or Medical Financing. Once you’ve paid in full, your surgery is confirmed and can no longer be rescheduled.

If you wish to cancel surgery less than 4 weeks in advance (and have not at that time paid in full), you will forfeit the deposit paid. Once you’ve paid in full, your surgery is confirmed and can no longer be rescheduled. Any change will be deemed a cancellation subject to the terms outlined below.
If you cancel your surgery within:

• 4 weeks or more, 75% will be refunded.
• 3 weeks, 50% will be refunded.
• 2 weeks, 25% will be refunded.
• 1 week or less, no fees will be refunded.

Should you wish to reschedule your surgery within the same calendar year, you may do so as long you provide at least 4 weeks’ notice prior to your original surgery date and upon paying a $1500 processing fee.

Please note that the patient can only reschedule a scheduled surgery date one time. If the patient cancels their surgery twice, all paid booking deposits are forfeited and we will not be able to rebook your procedure, or any other procedures in the future.

If surgical delays are incurred on the day of surgery due to reasons of patient non-compliance, (such as not following dietary restrictions as instructed prior to surgery, not following test requirements and recommendations, or presenting late for surgery) then the patient will be responsible for any additional charges incurred as a result of this delay or even be subject to surgical cancellation as above if surgery cannot be performed as scheduled due to above non-compliance.

If a patient requests a change to the surgical plan within 4 weeks of the scheduled surgery, then the patient will be responsible for any additional Operating Room and Anesthetic fees, on top of surgical fees as outlined above.

Health-related exceptions to this policy are the only circumstances accepted and will require a note from your physician detailing the reason for health-related cancellation purposes. Notification of cancellation must be received within at least four weeks of planned surgery, however, emergent reasons for cancellation within four weeks of surgery may be accepted under rare circumstances.

If you are not approved individually, some financing providers may allow you to apply with a qualified co-applicant, depending on the lender’s policies. Approval decisions are made solely by the financing company. Ottawa Plastic Surgery is not involved in financing decisions but can help direct you to the appropriate financing resources.

Many financing applications receive a decision shortly after they are submitted, although approval times vary. In some cases, the financing provider may request additional information before issuing a final decision. Once approved, you can review your available payment options and choose the plan that best fits your budget.

Repayment terms vary depending on the financing program and your approved application. At Ottawa Plastic Surgery, financing options may include terms ranging from 6 months to 6 years, giving many individuals the flexibility to choose a payment schedule that works for their budget.

A refundable $1500 deposit is required to schedule your surgery date. This fee will apply even if revision surgery is offered and planned at no charge. Once a surgical date is scheduled, cancellation or rescheduling within 4 weeks of surgery will result in forfeiture of the $1500 deposit, and an additional $1500 deposit will be required to reschedule the procedure. $1500 deposit will be refunded once the surgery is completed.

If you cannot attend on your confirmed surgery date, your surgery will be cancelled, resulting in forfeit of deposit. The rescheduling and cancellation policies and fees will apply as per above.
