This patient presented to Dr. Simon Frank at Ottawa Plastic Surgery with longstanding gynecomastia and persistent chest fullness despite significant weight loss through diet and exercise. Examination demonstrated excess breast tissue and skin, enlarged areolae, and sagging of the chest that would not be adequately corrected with liposuction alone.
He underwent male chest reduction surgery with direct chest wall excision and free nipple grafting, combined with liposuction of the lateral chest to improve overall contour.
His postoperative photographs demonstrate a dramatically flatter, more defined chest, with removal of the excess skin and breast tissue and improved nipple and areola position. The result creates a more proportionate, masculine chest contour that better complements his overall physique.
